Things Only Adults Notice In The Pirates Of The Caribbean Movies

People who were kids when the first "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie came out in 2003 are well into adulthood now, so it would make sense that they may view the series through different eyes today. Through the lens of youth, it's easy to focus on the squid monsters, swashbuckling adventure, and treasure hunting in the five relatively family-friendly PG-13 films in the series.

But adults are sure to notice more, like some of the strained relationships, big stretches of believability, and theatrical flourishes. So avast, ye mateys, and climb aboard for some things only adults notice in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies.
