Things Only Adults Noticed in Sonic the Hedgehog 2

From a frightening first trailer to a winning theatrical run, the first "Sonic the Hedgehog" movie was a perhaps-unexpected success story for Paramount, who brought the Blue Blur back for a second go-around in 2022.

While the original movie was a charming family film, it still had a few nods that only the adults in the room would get. (After all, the kids who first grew up on Sonic are more than a little bit older now.)

The second movie is no different, with references to movies and games that only older people will totally get. These are all the things only adults noticed in "Sonic the Hedgehog 2."
