Tiny Details You Missed In The Boys Season 3

The Boys has completed its third season and continues to bring the blood, guts, deceit, bad faith dealing, biting satire, humor, and of course a boat load of references, nods, and hidden gems. Showrunner Eric Kripke has taken elements from the comics and slid nods or references to them into the series even if they don’t have the same prominence that they do in the show. WIth three seasons down the show has managed to build up its own mythology as well that has been echoing through the show. From Hughie’s obsession with the Piano Man himself Billy Joel or Starlights just awful taste in candy bars. Even though the show has carved its own path through the lives of the world’s most self absorbed superheroes there are nods here and there to storylines from the comics. Even the real world gets a jab here and there from the way corporations milk a property or exploit any movement no matter how well intentioned. It’s not just the show The Boys that gets called out over the season, but also Eric Kripke’s other creation, the hit Supernatural who lends both actors and scenes from the cult show. That includes staples like January 24th and the Tarantino looking out the trunk shot. With so much tucked away in the show we couldn’t fit all of it into 10 minutes, what did you find that we missed?
