2020 has been a massive overload of a year, one that has been crazy and confusing and news that would have been breaking in a normal year now goes under the radar. One of these is evidence of parallel dimensions found in Antarctica. Why this is relevant for us at Screen Rant is that it makes us think of an alternate universe where everything is different- including the movies we watch. But in our very own universe some of the most iconic movies of all time were also very nearly different in their early development.

In this video we will take a look at what fifteen(ish) of the most iconic movies of all time very nearly looked like before eventually being changed. This includes directors having completely different genre visions for a movie, heroes not being all that heroic or likeable and villains being very, very different. Get ready to jump through time and space with us as we look at what these movies could have been.

What did you make of this list? Are there any you wish you could have seen? Any we missed? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to subscribe to the channel today for this and more interesting content.
