The Black Widow prequel movie is almost here and as we all prepare for Natasha Romanoff to go to war with the mysterious Taskmaster, there’s one huge question that fans keep asking themselves. Will Captain America appear in this movie?

Some would argue that Steve Rogers had a perfect MCU ending thanks to his final scene with Peggy Carter, but others point out that he’s an important part in this chapter of Black Widow’s life and needs to be included in some way. We know that Black Widow’s movie takes place between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War and finds our favorite superspy at a bit of a crossroads. Thanks to the Sokovia Accords, her Avengers family was just ripped apart and now Nat is on the run. This will lead her back to her old family, which includes her “sister” Yelena and the Russian-version of Captain America known as Red Guardian. Presumably the lessons she learns with her old family will drive her to reach out to Captain America by the end of the film in order to join his Secret Avengers, so wouldn’t that mean we need to see Cap on screen one last time?
