What makes good media is totally subjective. . .most of the time. But the vast majority of people agree that Breaking Bad was one of the best series of all time. Although it had a fitting and highly-rated final episode, many fans were eager to know what was next for poor Jesse Pinkman? Thankfully, Vince Gilligan didn’t disappoint with El Camino which picks up where the show left off. But since it’s been awhile since the show you might not have noticed a few hidden references and Easter Eggs. Like the fact that we got to see Hank Schrader and Steve Gomez again, even if only in old photos. And the same could be said for Andrea Cantillo and her son Brock Cantillo who didn’t exactly get happy endings thanks to Walter White. It’s also possible you didn’t notice the tribute to the episode “Peekaboo” or the fate of that old red Toyota Tercel. There’s definitely a lot going on in this movie and it can be hard to look past all of the nostalgia from the original series.

What do you think about this movie? Do you think it was a totally unnecessary addition to a practically perfect television series or were you glad to see the continuation of this epic story?
