As we are all aware, seeing as the Harry Potter books are 4224 pages in total, many plot points, fan favorite moments and even characters had to be cut or altered from the movies as they would struggle to fit everything into the run time. There are also many magical locations and areas of Hogwarts that are also very important, but one that really has a strong impact on the plot is the ever changing and elusive Room of Requirement. Without the Room of Requirement Harry wouldn't have had a safe location to teach Dumbledore’s Army in defense, Draco wouldn’t have been able to smuggle in the Death Eaters in their plot to assassinate Dumbledore and Harry and co would never have been able to return to Hogwarts after it fell under the control of the Death Eaters. But, there are even important plot points and moments in the books involving the Room of Requirement that didn’t make it into the movie. These scenes include ominous foreshadowing, brilliant moments of comic relief and even some huge overarching plot points that had to be changed for the movies.
