Shang-Chi: Behind The Scenes Facts

With the MCU getting bigger and bolder with every passing movie, the stakes continue to get higher as well, with audiences expecting their movies to be of a high quality, packed full of action, heart and humor. There latest movie, which is set to be released on September 4th in the US and Canada and stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Tony Leung and Michelle Yeoh, promises to be another feather in the studio’s cap with massive action set pieces, amazing visuals and a fun and loveable cast. With the release date getting closer we thought we’d take a look behind the action at how it all came together and all of the hard work that went into making the movie.

We will take a look at how the film created some of it’s biggest action set pieces (and particular the bus sequence) and the amount of work and perfection that went into creating that sequence, the martial arts styles, films and superstars that inspired the way the movie will look and feel and how the action will play out, how Simu Liu prepared for the role and the intense workout he went under to get in superhero shape, how other actors prepared for the movie, the highly talented and intense stunt team the movie had, what the director and his crew brought to the table, what Kevin Feige said about the movie and how it relates to the rest of Phase 4, its secret working title that it used while filming in Australia and the role Simu Liu wanted before landing the one he got.
