The Nightwing Easter Egg You Missed In The Batman

Unlike many of the comic book movies that grace the silver screen these days, “The Batman” is relatively light on Easter eggs and nods to die-hard fans. Matt Reeves’s take on the Dark Knight is a much more self-contained adventure, intentionally cutting its own path into the DC canon and extended universe.

However, there are a couple of nods to the larger world that Robert Pattinson’s Caped Crusader exists in. Late into the movie, Catwoman makes a startling decision that could imply that none other than Dick Grayson’s Nightwing could at some point make his debut.
