The group of people who don’t want to be alive anymore, DC hire me for even more great naming schemes, is back in an all new and all different way. Well maybe not all different as some characters from the less than critically acclaimed team’s adventures are making a return to fight Starro. Yes Starro, that giant telekinetic starfish that people look at and say, “yes that is a credible threat and not a silly idea from a Saturday morning cartoon that was cancelled after one season”. What is all new and all different though are the references, easter eggs, and shout outs that this movie are bringing to the silver screen. In a moment of honesty though, if any of these are from that movie that doesn’t have the all important “the” in it, just give me a break because I still haven’t seen and hopefully will never have to. I apologize if you suffered through that, managed to remember anything from that movie and then had to be reminded of it in this, trust me, no one wants to be reminded of that movie.

So get ready to experience the Guardians of Metropolis? Central City? Gotham?? save the world in gruesome but hilarious ways while also dropping things that you may not have caught your first time watching the team.
