The Butcher of ​​Blaviken is back and he’s reconciled with Jaskier, kind of reconciled with Yennifer, and has accepted his fate as Ciri’s protector as the series based on Andrzej Sapkowski cult favorite series of short stories and novels. Those stories have found their way to video games, comic books, and table top games including a board game, a card game, and a role-playing game. Now it’s also a popular Netflix series starring Superman himself, Henry Cavill in a more complicated heroic role. Where the first season bounced around the various short stories that made up the first stories of the Continent where elves, dwarves, halflings, and humans try and co-exist…badly, while a convergence has dumped magic and monsters across the land.
