Sam Raimi's lofty legacy spans decades, however, his reputation may end up preceding him in the Multiverse with "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness". Having co-written and directed the first three Spider-Man cinematic offerings, he's ostensibly invented the modern superhero blockbuster genre. "Spider-Man 2" easily remains the critical fan favorite to this day for a great reason. It's awesome! Remember when Doctor Strange was referenced by J. Jameson, alluding that Strange and Parker are in the same area code. Awesome! Raimi has signed on to direct "Dr. Strange 2" he will find himself on the cusp of a momentous evolutionary growth spurt. Pursuing Doctor Strange and his mystical endeavors opens all of the possibilities that the multiverse can yield. Like a reality where Tobey Maguire returns as Spider-Man in the Strange sequel. Is this to be a cameo? Or the portal to bigger things? Allegedly Maguire may also be appearing in Spider-Man 3, along with Andrew Garfield? Spider-Man 3 is deeply connected to the multiverse theme and, therefore, seemingly pivotal within the workings of the new MCU that threatens to completely turn everything we've seen in the MCU on its head. Previously ineligible crossovers, due to their specific continuities, ought to become commonplace now. Phase 4's rollout of "WandaVision", "Loki", "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings", over the next few years, will clash certainly. From a fertile pasture like this, a lot can flourish. There is even talk of a live-action Spider-Verse. Why not. I think we can handle this.
