Ever since the creation of movies, filmmakers have used a bag of tricks to pull off some amazing effects to make the movies seem real and bring to life their initial vision. In the present day, we are seeing an increasing amount of VFX/CGI to bring iconic characters, scenes and places to life. A vast majority of movies use the awesome power of VFX to build worlds, to create monsters or just to add an extra flourish. But while they may look amazing on screen, they don’t always look so great off of it.

In this video we will take a look at some of the behind the scenes moments of some iconic scenes and what they looked like before the magic of CGI. Including epic moments in the MCU, classic action sequences, the creation of mythical beasts and Jeff Goldblum (ok he isn’t CGI, but he will be appearing in this video and we wanted to make a note of that. These are some of the biggest and greatest moments in cinema history before the use of special effects. Get ready to see more green than an Irish Pub on St Paddys Day.
