After being delayed for more than a year, Wonder Woman 1984 was finally released. Wonder Woman 1984, is a 2020 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Wonder Woman. It is the sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman and the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Gal Gadot stars as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, alongside Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright, and Connie Nielsen. Set in 1984 during the Cold War, the film follows Diana and her past love Steve Trevor.

Audiences and fans alike get to see another part of Diana Prince’s life before her introduction in Batman V. Superman... living it up in the 1980s...but not the real 1980s, the movie 1980s where the colors are vibrant, the mustaches are mustache-y and outfit montages are a must. Wonder Woman 1984 may be a campy, long winded film and rotten tomatoes may have squashed the ratings down, but the film does have its moments, like Steve eating a Pop Tart and Steve having a dress up montage and Steve...wait, is this movie about Wonder Woman or Steve?
